LIn 2016, Jim Marshall of the Minnesota Vikings ran a recovered fumble the wrong way to score a safety for the other team. He was so confident he was going to score a touchdown that he didn’t even hear his teammates yelling for him to turn around. Let me ask you, men. Is there someone in your life warning you to turn around?

Let me ask you, men. Is there someone in your life warning you to turn around? Is your addiction, to alcohol, drugs, porn, work, or leisure leading you and your family down a wrong road? Maybe you don’t identify with any of those character flaws; you think you are a good person, yet you live as though God doesn’t exist. And your family is following your godless example.
Did you know that even if you don’t believe in God, He is holding you responsible for the spiritual welfare of your wife and children? What are you going to say to Him when He holds you accountable on that day? Don’t wait! Turn around and turn to Christ now! No one is too bad that God won’t save him, and no one is so good that they don’t need to be saved!
And if you say you are a Christian, then how much more will God call you to task for the way you lead your family? How tragic to claim to know the God of the universe and yet live as if He doesn’t exist? Friend, if this is you, then take to heart this admonition to turn around! Seek Christ with all your heart! Your wife and children learn from you what it means to follow Christ. What are they seeing?
Dove Award winning singer, Steve Green, sings in the title song of his album, “Find Us Faithful”,
Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful,
May the fire of our devotion light their way,
May the footsteps that we leave, lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey.
Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful.
Make sure you are leading your family the right way!
