Statement of Faith

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of the saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

We believe in the importance of men being servant leaders in their homes. As the world seems to be attempting to turn the foundation of what builds civilization on its head, we want to clarify our stance on the importance of traditional marriage. The importance of a father leading, discipling, and mentoring his children. And the importance of a complimentary conjugal relationship. The Danvers Statement clearly articulates our beliefs.

Paraclete’s statement assumes the essential understandings of the Christian faith. Our goal is to train men in the areas of leadership as it pertains to the home, church, and community. We leave further doctrine under the auspices of the local church. It is the role of each member’s pastoral leadership group to guide them in further understanding the depths of Biblical Theology.

Paraclete’s leadership team includes a diverse group of traditional and conservative Christian believers and although we have our personal opinions on matters such as Eschatology, Soteriology, church polity, and more, it is not our intent to disciple, mentor, or train in these areas.
